Here at West Sussex County Council we are dedicated to getting the best possible outcomes for the children and young people we care for. We are extremely proud of our committed team of staff and dedicated network of Foster Carers who help us to achieve this.

As a local authority we are a not-for-profit organisation. Our money goes towards ensuring the children we care for have somewhere safe, loving and local to call home and supporting our Foster Carers to be able to provide this.

Our vision
Our vision for the West Sussex Fostering Service is that the children we care for are afforded the very highest standard of therapeutic care, delivered by highly trained and expertly supported Foster Carers.
Our carers are respected and integral members of the professional network. By working in partnership with them as ‘one team’ we will ensure that each and every child’s potential to thrive and achieve within their own community is valued and aspired to in all that we do.
